Testimonials
"Loyola lacrosse has been wonderful for my family and in particular my two sons. They have learned a lot about dedication, respect for the game, their coaches and most importantly their teammates. The coaches and the school really believe in this program and the kids. It takes dedication to be on the Hill in the rain, sleet, wind and sunshine 5 days a week all season. Plus, in all those conditions, my sons never complain about going to practice because of what makes that program special. The coaches, the Alumni, the partnership with the school, the other families and the kids' understanding that the name on the front is more important than the name on the back sets the tone for not just practice or game day but all season long. From the developmental seasons to the State Championship seasons it has been a great ride and I would recommend to anyone looking to learn the game that they begin their journey at Loyola Youth Lacrosse..”

"This will be the 5th year our son has participated in LYL and each spring is met with the same excitement and anticipation to get back to work up on “The Hill”. It has been wonderful to see such growth in the program over that time horizon as it remains a premier spring lacrosse destination for both serious club players and boys that are new to the game. The program’s success starts with the strength and quality of the coaching. A terrific “roster” has been assembled of former players, current high school and club coaches and lacrosse playing alumni fathers, all of whom genuinely want to be there and are extremely generous with their time.”

“Our son lives for lacrosse and was seeking a spring program that went beyond athletic ability and stick skills. What sets Loyola apart is its consistent emphasis on lacrosse IQ, positional effectiveness, purposeful practice, and long-term development. The coaching prioritizes learning, effort, and character, creating an environment that mirrors the expectations of a strong high school program. The combination of excellent facilities, a structured and reliable practice schedule, and coaches with deep experience and strong connections to high school and club lacrosse made this experience truly unique. We are grateful for the growth our son experienced and are excited to return for a second year.”

“We have absolutely loved the Loyola Youth Boys Lacrosse Program. Greg and his team are super thorough in their training and communication with the boys and parents. Our son loves going to practice and has learned so much already. The format is well planned and our son seems to be thriving under their coaching.”

“Our son joined LYL this spring as a brand new player to the game. He was welcomed by all of the kids and Coaches. He has learned so much about the game and absolutely loves it! He has had such a wonderful experience playing with LYL and will continue playing lacrosse because of it!!”

“In our first year at Loyola Youth Lacrosse, both our family and my player have had an excellent experience. The Loyola program has given my player the opportunity to see first hand the discipline and hard work required to compete at a high level of lacrosse in Illinois. The coaching staff has helped grow our son’s lacrosse IQ, allowed him to try new positions and created a WE NOT ME mentality with the team. The communication from the club has been timely and accurate, which is always appreciated! Finally, it has been great to get to know so many dedicated families from across Chicagoland who share our love of the sport!”
